I chose Blue Pepper Hostel Chapultepec because I wanted to visit the Regional Museum of Guadalajara, which was conveniently located just a short walk away. And to my surprise, I found that the hostel had a no pets and no service animals policy, which made for a peaceful and quiet environment. I also appreciated the fact that the hostel had a bar/lounge and concierge services, ensuring that my needs were met at any time of the day or night.
Blue Pepper Hostel Chapultepec is in need of refurbishment. The place is dirty and worn out, with old furniture and peeling paint.

I had a surprisingly pleasant stay at this hotel. the location was fantastic, right in the center of everything. Just like other guests mentioned, there were many bars and restaurants within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient. Secondly, the staff were really nice and helpful. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Lastly, the rooms with shared bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, which was a relief after reading the other reviews.
The only minor issue I encountered was some confusion during check-in. But the staff quickly resolved it, so all was fine.

The complementary breakfast and tour of the city were quite nice, and the common areas were decorated festively for Christmas. The location was perfect for those looking to be in the heart of the action during the holidays, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Our room was located right next to the outdoor gathering space where loud music and conversation went on until the wee hours of the morning, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the room was quite cold due to a lack of heat and poor insulation, and the bedding provided was not sufficient to keep us warm.

The outdoor area was really nice and cozy, great to relax and unwind after a busy day. the location was great, close to public transport and a lot of food options. the complementary breakfast and coffee in the morning were a nice touch and helped us save money.
The shared bathroom was not ideal, and it was a bit confusing to find at first. It was not very clean, and there were other people's belongings left there for days.
